0210-GR10 Oahu Black Basalt

Product Description:This fine grained Chinese basalt has been formed by volcanic activity. When freshly quarried and cut this stone is indeed black, but weathers or cures to a warmer, browner tone as it oxidizes. It has fine holes in the surface of the stone, making it a lighter weight material than some of the black granites. This material works as a solution for both interior and exterior applications. It has been specified on some high end residential projects in combination with our Ink Jade Limestone™. It responds well to our lychee, adze hand finishes and flamed & brushed finishes.

Suggested Uses: pavers, treads/risers, veneers, wall caps, cubic fabrication, architectural details.
